SuggDJ is an intelligent blend of data analysis and artificial intelligence, built for DJs. Here’s a simplified breakdown:

1. History Import: On first launch, SuggDJ scans your set history folders from Serato and Rekordbox. It creates a comprehensive database, mapping all your played tracks and their connections.
2. Preference Learning: The program analyzes which tracks you frequently mix together, building a unique profile of your playing style.
3. Serato Live Monitoring: While you're playing in Serato, SuggDJ monitors the program's logs in real-time. It knows what track is currently playing.
4. Smart Suggestions: Based on the current track and your historical database, SuggDJ instantly generates a list of recommended tracks that are a perfect fit to continue your set. They are displayed intuitively, ready for you to choose.
5. AI Expansion (Optional): If you need inspiration beyond your own history, the Google Gemini integration allows you to ask for suggestions matching a specific vibe or mood.

The Simple Path to a Perfect Set

1. First Run

Requires a Windows 10 or 11 PC. On first launch, the program will try to automatically locate your history folder (Music/_Serato_/History Export). If not found, please point to it manually using the "Change Folder..." button.

2. Search and Suggestions

Type a track title in the main search box. The list on the left will filter the results. Click a track, and the list on the right will show suggestions, sorted from most-played transitions.

3. How to get a Google AI (Gemini) API Key?

1. Visit the Google AI Studio website.
2. Log in with your Google account and click "Get API key".
3. Select "Create API key in new project".
4. Copy the generated key.
5. In SuggDJ, click the API -> API Settings... menu and paste your key.
